Match report from U13s v Warlingham - 13 December 2009

Under 13s V Warlingham: 6 - 27

Having hastily rearranged our game, and after our Victory against Cranleigh we headed to South London for our first league game. In a hotly contested half which saw no team totally dominant, although Guildfordians had the edge in the pack, whilst Warlingham were always more dangerous in the back, Warlingham eventually outflanked us to score under the posts just before half time.

In the second half Warlingham broke through the middle to score a soft try, before Andrew Gee emerged from a maul on our 10m line to score under the posts. Guildfordians started to dominate the pack, but without being able to score, and as the game drew to a close Warlingham scored two tries out wide.

All in all a hard fought game where the score flattered Warlingham, and which we can take some comfort into the New Year.
